My Weekend, by Natasha Squires

During the weekend, I don't do much, but this weekend, this INCREDIBLE, SEXY, weekend, has been much more eventful than usual.
I'll start off with Friday. Friday was just like every other Friday: kids were tired, cranky, ready to slack off for the next few days. But there were a couple of gnarly kids anticipating a spectacle. A spectacle of great portions of meat: a Windom Earle show.
The show, like many others, was held at the Basilica rec Center. My mother dropped me off in front at around 6:00pm, where I met up with a bunch of my friends, and saw Megan, with her purple and pink hair, being cool. I was amazed by her hair, and Shannon's, which was allll chopped off.
Oh, and what a great show it was. Well... part of it was great. The ever metamorphing Fleur and I went to the mall at the first of the show, and came back just in time for Land For Living. What a great punk band they are. Very fast, very loud. In other words: sexy.
After waiting for oh-so-long, Windom Earle finally played. They were fun, energetic, dance-tastic. I adored them, but, I had to leave early in their set, which made me very angsty and homicidal.
On Saturday, I went to Charlottetown with my mother, and we went to the mall. I just had to browse in Radioland and see all their new t-shirts. I must say, last week, the selection was pretty dingy. All they need is some medium AFI shirts, and I'm all set. I was so enthralled by all of the CDs surrounding me, I just had to get some. So, I bought a compilation CD by various punk artists called "Hopelessly Devoted to You Vol.IV" and another by a very cool. very Canadian. Very... Metric :). Old World Underground, Where are you Now?" I think the title of the CD was.
And today, which is Sunday, I went to Kylea's house, and we had fun.

Fin.

[music |Becca poking me, telling me to write about her.]

I haven't seriously updated in LJ for a relatively long time (for an LJ-whore), and the update page is all.... woah... yes.

So anyways, school is smextastical. I met cool people... w00t!

OK, so... funny stories that happened this week. On Wednesday, we went to a library orientation thing (which we already took, and it was boring), and Danielle and I had to fill out a book reference sheet thing. For "what do you like to read about?" we put stupid things like "bloddletting, Harry Potter, Cannablism, death, destruction, lollipops, rainbows, etc." For "What is you favourite book(s)?" we put "Cannablilsm for Dummies, Grow your Own Meat, Harry Potter, etc". For "What authors would you suggest to you peers?" we put "Francesca Lia Block, Steven King, Lemony Snicket, Harry Potter, etc." And it just goes on. We laughed, we had fun... it's probably not as funny to you as it is to me.

And on Monday, Danielle and I drew an emo kid, and we made fun of it. Tgat akways calls for good times.

And I'm starting to hang out with Connor, and he is le uber cool... it's funny.. he randomly bursts into songs. I met his friends... Kyle, who called me insane, and Allan (not sure how to spell his name, there are numerous ways) who is really nice, despite the fact that he Maya a caveman. But he said it in the nicest way possible.

So, I'm going to the show tomorrow! Everyone go or I will shoot you.

Ok... I won't shoot you...

I had a rather long update, but stupid g-damn LJ got rid of it somehow. *shakes fist*

I was just saying about how I went to value village and how school is cool, but sucks sometimes.

Ok... so... at Value Village I bought 2 CDs, one by a very VERY indie ska band, and another by an indie rock-pop band named kudzu that is really cool.

and in school, french is cool, english language is cool, science is boring, AND ENGLISH LIT. CLASS SUCKS MONKEY RECTUM AND MS. ST JOHN SHOULD DIIIIIEEEE!

the end.

LJ Mind Game #278: Write ten statements about and/or to ten people and do not identify which statement applies to who.

1. I used to think that everything and everyone revolved around you, but now I see that you're uber cool and I heart you muchly.
2. Complicated you. But I heart you. Everyone hates you, and I really wish they didn't. You are a great person when you wanna be.
3. I really miss you. I said some really nasty things, and I lost you, and I'll never get that back. I just want you to know that I'm sorry and I still love you a lot.
4. We've lost touch. I've known you for a long time, but it seems like I'm not as good as your new friends. Sure, whenever we hang out it's really fun, but it's not like we have a real relationship. And stop hurting yourself like this.
5. You're such a cool dude, and I haven't talked to you for 2 months. Sure... you might not like me because of certain friends, but I think you're awesome.
6. You're probably one of the coolest people on this island. You've got style and you've got brains. Everyone who meets you loves you. I really miss you and we should hang out some time.
7. I never really liked you until last/this year. You're a super person, but sometimes too outspoken for your own good.
8. LEAVE ME ALONE! I pretend to like you but, damn, you're just so annoying. you complain about everything in your stupid nasily voice. Stupid gimp.
9. I MISS YOU!!!! I miss you and your anti-Hilary ways. You're so great and you're one of my best friends and you RULE! \m/
10. I like you... and... you don't like me.
